About HomePro Systems, Inc. HomePro Systems, Inc. is a publisher of: books, computer software, VHS video tapes, home inspection reporting systems, training materials, promotional materials, advertising materials, and marketing materials. Founded in 1981 by Michael P. Lennon, HomePro Systems, Inc. grew steadily as a mixture of a home inspection company and publisher of a home inspection reporting system known as The Homebook™. Over the years, the company produced more and more published materials that were sold to the general public, home inspectors, builders, remodelers, and real estate professionals. In 1994 HomePro Systems, Inc. elected to divest the home inspection department and to focus entirely on authoring and publishing. Since that time, the company has become known as one of the best publishers specializing in the building and inspection business. Our publications have grown in number, topic, and media. HomePro’s success can be attributed to its uniqueness in organization, published products, business development techniques, and training programs. The Homebookä , HomePro's first prepackaged inspection system, is unlike anything previously developed. Once completed by a Home Inspector as a home inspection report, The Homebookä becomes a customized homeowner’s manual that organizes maintenance for each home, provides a means for the inspector and home buyer/owner to screen for over six hundred items, provides authoritative explanations and problem/solution guides. Homebook customers have the advantage of being completely independent business owners. Once approved as a Homebook customer, these independent companies using The Homebookä as their home inspection report are able to utilize other HomePro promotional and marketing materials that have been specifically developed to support the marketing efforts of the customer. This customer network and support system has proven very effective as it combines the advantages of a small business and the support materials usually found only in a large-scale corporation. Homebook customers reap the benefits of HomePro publications and Homebook brand name, while remaining independent. In 2001, HomePro Systems, Inc. published The Homebookä Spanish language edition. It is believed to be the first Spanish language home inspection report package published in the United States. It is easily completed by and used by English speaking home inspectors and real estate professionals, while providing a complete home inspection report in Spanish. In 2002, HomePro Systems, Inc. published eleven new home inspection report packages in English and Spanish. Ten of these new publications are offered under the My Home Inspection Report™ brand, and one is offered under The Home Status Report™ brand. These new publications are intended to provide the diversity in product cost and report style that has been demanded in the home inspection marketplace. This places HomePro Systems, Inc. as the leader in quality and diversity of home inspection report packages. Publication of training materials for the Home Inspection Training Schools and Seminars comprises a major part of offerings from HomePro Systems, Inc. We have long been recognized as the leader in providing solid technical content in a variety of media and at highly competitive prices to the student and to the Training organizations.
